Brad Venable, der produktive Videospiel- und Anime-Synchronsprecher, starb am 8. Januar 2021 im Alter von 43 Jahren. Venable war bekannt für seine Rolle als Griffon in Devil May Cry 5.
Neben seiner Arbeit mit der Devil May Cry-Reihe sprach Venable Bill Corwin in Serious Sam 4, Gloom in Daemon x Machina, Clay in Pokemon Masters und eine Vielzahl zusätzlicher Voice-Over-Arbeiten für Final Fantasy VII Remake, Demon Souls (2020), Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Fire Emblem: Three Houses und mehr.
Venable hat nicht nur der Videospielbranche seine Stimme verliehen, sondern war auch ein produktiver Sprecher im Anime-Bereich. Er sprach Rollen wie Daz aus Attack on Titan, Shisami aus Dragon Ball Super, Byro aus Fairy Tail und machte zusätzliche Voice-Over-Unterstützung für My Hero Academia, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Assassination Classroom, Hunter x Hunter und andere.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurde die Todesursache noch nicht veröffentlicht, aber viele Freunde und Familienmitglieder des verstorbenen Synchronsprecher überfluteten Twitter, um sein Andenken und die Zeiten, die sie mit ihm teilten, zu ehren.
